Our delicious Astaka dates are big and round with soft pulp and crispy skin. Their color ranges from dark yellow to brown. The brighter ones are more firm, fleshy, and crunchy, whereas the darker ones are much softer and creamy. Astaka are mild and silky in taste, and not too sweet. Since these are very fresh dates, they should always be stored in the freezer. Astaka taste great when frozen!

The consistency of Astaka varies, which is normal. Often, the dates on the bottom of the box are darker and softer and look a bit squashed. This is completely natural and no indication of lower quality.

Origin: Oman
